too many faces

this has at least 300 faces in it. if you establish where the eyes are, it morphs everything else. there are faces in the negative space, background and in the figure. on paper, if you rotate the image, you find even more. possibly my favorite.

it's been too long since i've put anything out. i sat on the floor yesterday for an hour or so and did a few drawings. the pain in the knees was worth it.

this is what i have so far. king friday from mr. rogers, king hippo from mike tysons punch out, freddie mercury from queen, king randor from He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and michael jackson.... a few more to come...

caffeine

my new excuse is that i'm working 2 jobs. 12 hour days may be neccesary for a while. i don't want to be a literal starving artist.
but, i did find some inspiration for a quick drawing. while working 3rd shift and then straight to 1st shift, i started becoming dependent on large quantities of caffeine.
